Nancy A. Ebben

Nancy is beloved, sadly missed and survived by her children, Chad Ebben and Merissa Didrickson (Michael), her cherished grandchildren, Riley Schwarztrauber, Tristan Didrickson, and Elsie Ebben and her loving sister Chris Blankenship. Preceded in death by her Mother and Father Lydia and Ralph Westcott Sr., brother Ralph Westcott Jr., and husband Duane in 2021.

Born in Lincoln, NE, Nancy graduated from Southeast High School in 1969. She married her sweetheart Duane on December 9th, 1972. Together, Duane and Nancy built a beautiful family and a life filled with travel and relaxation at their weekend home on Rainbow Lake.

Nancy loved traveling to the mountains, crafting, decorating for the holidays (especially Christmas) being at the lake and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. When asked to describe grandma, the grandchildren said she was “kind, patient, loving, funny, helpful, smart, joyful and beautiful”. She was a wonderful mother and friend who will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

To respect Nancy’s wishes, no viewing will be held. Friends/family are invited to share memories at a casual, Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 2, at 2pm at Lincoln Memorial Park. Please meet at Gate 2, 15 minutes prior, where we will line up and proceed back to the graveside. There will be a Dessert Reception to follow the Service at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, in the Chapel.

In lieu of gifts/flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Association
