Mikeal was born on July 4, 1968 in Lewiston, Idaho. He was adopted by Lonnie and Marilyn Jensen at the age of 3 weeks old. He graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1986. After graduation, he attended Milford Community College.
Mikeal Joined the Navy on February 22, 1988. He was stationed at Naval Air Station Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL. He served aboard the USS America during Desert Storm from 1990-1991. On February 23, 1994 Mikeal welcomed his son, Patrick Gene Jensen, to the world.
After returning to Nebraska, Mikeal began work at Molex where he worked as a technician for over 19 years.
In 2002, he married Billie Jo (McRoberts) Jensen. Mikeal and Billie Jo enjoyed spending time with their friends and family. Mikeal was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders. They both treasured their time spent on the rides, traveling and honoring the veterans.
Mikeal was a devoted friend who always knew how to light up a room. He was known for his pranks and jokes (often inappropriate) that filled the room with laughter and left us with memories that won’t be forgotten.
Mikeal was preceded in death by wife Billie Jo Jensen, son Patrick Jensen, father, Lonnie Jensen, step-father Gary Erlandson, grandparents Frank and Ruth Kolb and Holger and Esther Jensen, and brother-in-law Edward McRoberts Jr. He is survived by mother Marilyn (Jensen) Erlandson, father and mother-in-law Edward and Alice McRoberts, sisters Robin (Jensen) Jenkins and Marcie (Ken) Burbach, brother-in-law LeRoy (Amanda) McRoberts, sister-in-laws MaDonna McRoberts, Bobbie Jo (Mike) Birkel, and Dena McRoberts, nephews Tyson (Jennifer) Jenkins, Nolan (Kaleigh) Jenkins, and Levi (Leah) Jenkins, nieces Lindsey Pickering, Lacey Kinning, and Lexie (Brody) Herrick, and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.
