Mabel J. Bishop, 91, of Lincoln passed away January 12, 2015. Born December 19, 1923 to James and Mable (Earl) Henderson at Plattsmouth, NE. She was united in marriage to Fred Bishop in 1943 at Lincoln. She was a hairstylist for many years. She enjoyed cooking, and loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Gary (Marlys) Bishop and their daughter, Kara Bishop; Deborah (Larry) Bishop Carr, and their children, Michelle Carr-Haszard, David Carr and Jared Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred; two brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be Monday January 19, 2015 at 12:30 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S. 14th Street) with interment to follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday and from 10 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorials in her memory may be directed to the family for future designation.
