Lettie "Louise" Page, WWII WAVE veteran, Gold Star Mother, and long-time Lincoln hairdresser passed away after suffering a June fall at her home and the surgery to repair her broken leg. She served as a communications technician during the war, and shortly after she moved to Germany with her husband and children. Louise was an independent, determined woman who enjoyed fashion, crafting, golf, sunbathing, and watching pro baseball and basketball.
She is survived by granddaughters, Wendy Page Barnwell (David) and Jennifer Harrell (Charlie) of NC, 5 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Linlou Oglesby and Lossie (Dekle) Oglesby, and sons Henry Lindsey Page III (Doris Stacy), GA, and John Edward Page.
A Celebration of Life will be held September 10th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Sunrise Gardens community room, 825 N Cotner Blvd.
