Karen K. Wilson was born in Beatrice, NE, on February 4,1942 to Dean and Lola Greening and passed peacefully in Friend, NE on December 31, 2023 at age 81.
Karen was known for her Sense of Humor, Generosity, and Love for Her Family. She loved to travel, especially for her kids’ and grandkids’ sporting and scholastic events. Branson was a favorite destination for her and Bill. She loved Music.
Karen retired from Walmart after 22 years, but it was still her Favorite place to shop. In all her travels she would find a Walmart and bring back souvenirs for the grandkids and great grandkids.
If you moved, you could be sure that Karen and Bill would be one of your first visitors.
Karen is survived by her husband William of 63 years, 1 daughter and 4 sons, Rebecca (Steve) Kapperman of Friend, NE, Chris (Janelle) Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK, Todd (Carla) Wilson of Lincoln, NE, Greg (Michelle) Wilson of Topeka, KS, Mark (Jennifer) Wilson of Omaha, NE, 21 grandchildren Tara, Josh, Chelsea, Jayk, Brittany, Brett, Shali, Amber, Brandon, Ashley, Amy, Cassi, Emily, Anna, Olivia, Dustin, Alaetra, McKenzie, Gannon, Gage, and Cade, and 18 great grandchildren Trey, Taya, Tynlee, Tristen, Carson, Paityn, Paxton, Hendrix, Mason, Bailey, Avery, Madilynn, Paisley, Carter, Natalee, Everleigh and 2 coming in 2024, sister Patricia Wall, Multiple brother and sister-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Logan Capossela, brother Dennis Greening, and sisters Linda Greening, Carolyn Gotchall, Mary McKenney, and Vickie Fitzpatrick.
Visitation on Friday, January 5th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. with services being held on Saturday, January 6th at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 am. 6800 South 14th Street.
