Joy was born May 3, 1935 to Donald and Nadean Hayes. She is survived by her loving children, Peggy Chilen, Lodeen (Jim) Buis, Vanetta (Gary) Schroeder, Loyal (Jayne) Nyhoff; step-brother, Donald (Marilyn) Hayes; step-sister, Jackie (Richard) Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, August 16, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Park. 6800 S 14th St. Lincoln, NE 68512.
