Herbert Merle Reed II, 59, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at his home in Pleasant Dale, in the company of family and friends. He was born on Dec. 16, 1956, to Herbert and Marilyn Reed. He graduated from Lincoln East and SCC. He married Brenda Reed, on Feb. 14, 1989. They both worked at Duncan Aviation, and later created their own business, Flame Out Inc.. Herb loved spending time at the lake with family and friends, and had a passion for fast cars. He fought the good fight against cancer until the end. He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Elicia and Missy; his son-in-law, Clint; his mother, Marilyn; and his siblings Tim, Rob, and Kerrie, as well as other friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, and his father, Herbert. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 2, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
