Dorothy Darlene Raney

Dorothy Darlene Raney passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday, February 28, at her home. Born to Ralph R. Allen and Ruth (Kepner) Allen on September 28, 1932. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was everything to her. She could light up a room with her beautiful smile. Dorothy loved animals. She never met a dog she didn’t like and had a special fondness for birds and squirrels. She is survived by son, Richard Clough, daughter, Debbie Suesz (Lynn Miller), grandchildren, Mellissa (Jason) Bailey, Holly (Mat) Elstun, Nikki Suesz (Cory Drews), Kendra (Mark) Perley, Daniel (Jess) Clough, Jessica Clough, and Patrick Clough, great grandchildren, Apollo, Atlas, Carter, Cayla, Chasity, Derrick, Gavin, Iris, Layla, Lily, Miranda, and a baby on the way, brothers, Albert and Tommy (Alice), sisters, Sandy and Carol, step-daughter, Linda (Lonnie) Powell, step-granddaughters, Tina and Tammy, 5 step-great grandchildren, friend Rebecca Bessette and dog, Cali. Dorothy (Dot) was preceded in death by her husband, Leon B. Raney, son, Dale Clough, parents, and siblings Ralph Jr., Marie, Billie, Ruth, Leo, and Shirley. Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Viewing on Saturday one hour prior to service.
