Donald Irvin Benzing

Don served in the United States Army from 1968-1970. He married Patty Koenig on October 20, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a retired truck driver.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Irvin Louis Benzing and Mollie Wertz Benzing.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Patty of Lincoln, NE; son, Dan (Lynn) Benzing of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Cody (Joe Salerno) Benzing of Omaha, NE; sister, Barb (Loren) Roberts; brother-in-law, Rod (Vicki) Koenig of Palmyra, NE; sister-in-law, Sandy Luebbers of Washington; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Memorials to the family for future designation.

A memorial service for Donald will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the Memorial Service in the Lincoln Memorial Reception Room.
