He did well in school, especially at Lincoln High School and the University of Nebraska. Dale loved his career choice as he worked tirelessly at the credit union on behalf of his members, board of directors, staff, and volunteers for 40 years as President. He additionally served on local, state, and national committees with inspiring colleagues supporting credit unions.
His interests included skiing, softball, and supporting the Huskers in all sports. He was outdoors in the gardens often and loved attending many wonderful events at The Lied Center. When Dale was blessed with grandchildren Tyler and Alaina, that was his favorite above everything else. He loved visiting, having stayovers, and enjoyed every minute of their activities and performances. It was his absolute joy to see them in college pursuing their dreams.
His surviving family includes wife, Victoria; son and family, Jeffrey, Erin, Tyler and Alaina; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Wayne and Sue Springer, Roger and Leslie Springer; brother-in-law, David Nolte; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Don and Joanna Workman, Julie and Andy Richardson, Lisa and Ted Vosta; brother-in-law, Gary Workman; special nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, neighbors, and his beloved dog, Toula.

We will all miss him very much and are beyond grateful to the many doctors, nurses, rehab and PT medical staff, and pastors who have given Dale their care and compassion. We are blessed by Dale and the life he lived. In honoring Dale's wishes, a private family service will be held. In remembrance, please do an act of kindness for someone and make a donation to your favorite charity or house of worship. Dale's favorites were the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Hearts United for Animals, and First Plymouth Congregational Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.
