Bradley Darren Johnson, loving husband, father, son, and brother was born January 27, 1965 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Deon and Carolyn (Lincoln) Johnson and suddenly, but peacefully passed away April 23, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 56.
He graduated from Lincoln East in 1983 and earned a Journalism Degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1988.
After working for both Boehringer Mannheim and STI, Brad worked at Ameritas as their Business Systems Administrator for the last 13 years.
He married Sheri Dormer in 1991 and from that union, Brook Darren was born. Brad then married Amy Andelt on July 21, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his brother Brian and grandparents.
Brad is survived by his wife, Amy, son, Brook, parents, Deon and Carolyn, sister, Tammy (Tim) Knight, brother-in-law, Brad (Jeanne) Andelt, sister-in-law, Vicki (Doug) Russell, step mother-in-law, Diane Lostroh, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Brad truly enjoyed his love of German Shepherd’s, as well as, coaching Brook’s baseball team, attending Messiah Lutheran Church, working out, riding his bike, watching old movies/TV programs, drinking Diet Coke, and cheering on the Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs. Last, but not least, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving family.
