Anthony H. Liesveld age 85 of Lincoln (formerly of Pleasant Dale) died on December 22, 2016 in Lincoln. He was born on February 21, 1931 in Holland, Nebraska to Henry and Grace (Wissink) Liesveld. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Tony married Kathryn Weber on August 24, 1953 in Firth. He farmed all of his life and had many extra side jobs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, baseball, woodworking, gardening, playing cards, bowling and being outdoors. Tony was a member of the Pleasant Dale American Legion Post #354, past member of the Pleasant Dale Fire Department, and a member of Hope Community Church. Tony is survived by his wife, Kathryn of Lincoln; son, Chuck (Cindy) Liesveld of Lincoln; daughters, Penny Freyer of Omaha; Jayne (Ron)Kapke of Pleasant Dale; grandchildren, Mollie (Mike) Middleton of Lincoln; Travis (Heather) Liesveld of Lincoln; Josh (Crystal) Morris of Newport Richey, Florida; Jennifer (Jason) Hultsch of England; Heather (Paul) Terry of Omaha; Ashley (Fabian) Villanueva Enriquez of Omaha; Adam (Beth) Kapke of Pleasant Dale; Katie (Harley) Epp of Plymouth; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Charlene (Roland) Beach of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Carol Weber of Scottsbluff. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Community Church, Lincoln. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hope Community Church or Pleasant Dale American Legion Post #354.
