Angela M. Cooper, 42, of Lincoln, passed away on February 22, 2016, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She was born in North Platte, NE to Gary and Jeanette (Grabowski) Muhs. She graduated May 1992 from St. Patricks in North Platte. Angela married John P. Cooper in 1995. They resided along the East coast while John was in the Navy serving several duty stations. She was employed by T.J. Maxx stores in Maine, Iowa, Lincoln and Grand Island. Later she was promoted to manage Marshall’s in Lincoln. Angela also worked at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. She enjoyed home decorating and spending time with her dog, Oscar, her loving companion to the end. Survivors: John Cooper, Parents, Dennis and Cindy Cooper, Grandpa Eldon Muhs, Grandmother Mildred Armatis, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by: Maternal Grandparents, Leonard and Irene Grabowski and Paternal Grandmother, Phillis Muhs. Husband’s Maternal Grandparent John Armatis and Paternal Grandparents, Louis and Agnes Cooper. Angie had a “zest” for life. A promising career cut short battling her cancer with so much determination and courage to the end. She was an inspiration to all of us. She will be remembered for her love and compassion for all of God’s creatures, big and small. Feeding the squirrels, ducks and birds in her back yard.
