William O'Connell

Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Bill was the son of the late Charles O’Connell and late Minerva (Issel) O’Connell. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet (Unruh) O’Connell as well as his children Karen (O’Connell), wife of Richard Minnucci, William, husband of Carla (Piccini) O’Connell, and Matthew, husband of Lori (Work) O’Connell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Gina, Taylor, Patrick, Rebecca, Billy, Brody and Katherine along with two great grandchildren; Liam and Sheamus.

Bill’s hobbies included woodworking, carving and later in life, quilting. Bill graduated from Dobbins Technical School, Philadelphia, in 1963. He went on to work as a printer by trade for many years at National Publishing and The Pottstown Mercury. Following his career in the printing industry, Bill worked for PennDot before enjoying retirement with his wife in Florida.

Visitation will be held at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525, at 10:30AM-11AM followed by a memorial service at 11AM. Inurnment to take place following the service at Limerick Garden of Memories.
