Lucy was born in Rosemont, PA in 1932, to her parents, Maria (Tancredi) Vito and James Vito, becoming the youngest sibling to her brothers, Daniel, James, and Dominic, and her sister, Grace (Vito) Capriola. (All deceased). Lucy is loved and missed by many nieces and nephews.
In 1952, she and John Lendacky were married, and in 1955 they had a daughter, Elise. In 1972, Elise married Robert Holden, and together they had 2 children, Alexander in 1979 (deceased) and Rosemary in 1982. Rosemary married Florian Tourneur in 2014, and together they had 2 children, Louise in 2020 and Margaux in 2022, to which Lucy was a very proud Great-grandmother.
Lucy and her husband John were long-time residents of Timberline Drive in Pottstown. Lucy lived her final years at Berks Leisure Living in Leesport, PA.
She and John were partners in the Iron Shop in Skippack Village, and they took an active role in forming the Merchant's Association of Skippack. Later, she was employed by the Montgomery County Geriatric Center, initially as an Aide and later in the office, until her retirement.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sharing recipes, crocheting, and getting together with family and friends.
Lucy will be joined with her husband John in Limerick Garden of Memories at a private ceremony. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
