Wanda L. Lambert

Wanda L. Lambert, 93, of Lima passed on April 7, 2016, at 11:15 a.m., at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. She was born on January 3, 1923, in Floyd Co., KY, to Ray & Maude (Warrens) McComas, who preceded her in death. She married Thomas Lambert on April 15, 1944, and he preceded her on May 3, 1989.

Wanda worked and retired from R.G. Dunn Cigar Corp. She was a volunteer at the Civic Center for many years. She enjoyed working in her garden, watching the Food Network and soap operas.

She is survived by her daughter Pam Lambert of Lima; grandchildren: Kris (Ed) Burden, Kim Lambert, Matt Ehora, Amanda Campbell and Bryce Binkley all of Lima; great-grandchildren: Erik Burden, Lilly Burden and Ally Sandy.

She is preceded in death by her son Thomas Lambert and brothers, Glenn McComas and Edwin McComas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 10, 2016, from 1-5 p.m. , at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday April 11, 2016 in the funeral home, with Pastor Bo McComas officiating.
