Steven Leroy Barrington

Steven Leroy Barrington, 71, of Lima, passed away 12:21 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born on September 6, 1945 in Lima to George and Martha (Green) Barrington and they both precede him in death.

Steve is survived by his children, Steven (Lynda) Barrington of Columbus, Michelle (Matthew) Hahn of Lima and Donald (Molly) Barrington also of Columbus. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cory Hahn, Cody Hahn, Brooke Barrington, Ashley Barrington, Patrick Barrington and Agnes Barrington; his siblings, Janet Mauk of Cairo, John (Susan) Barrington of Lexington, KY, and his sister-in-law: Judy Barrington of Columbus. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Barrington and a brother-in-law, Richard Mauk.

Mr. Barrington retired from Oakwood Forensic Center as a corrections officer. He was a 1963 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He was a member of the Lima FOE # 370, he was an avid OSU Buckeye’s football fan, he loved motorcycles and he was an original member of the Steele’s softball team.

Friends and family may call Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 12 Noon until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME.
