Marilyn J. Justice, 74, of Lima, died at 6:50 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Triumph Hospital, Lima. She was born Mar. 4, 1936, in Lima, to Orrin and Edith (Olt) Basinger who preceded her in death. On Sept. 30 ,1967, she married Raymond Justice, who survives.
Mrs. Justice had been a cook in the kitchen of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #370. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles Auxiliary, where she had held numerous offices. She loved to watch game shows on television, play bingo, go to auctions and she was an excellent cook. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
Also surviving are two children: Linda (Edward) Westler of Shelby and Kevin (Sue) Justice of Lima; a sister, Mary Lou Bailey of Lima; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and her dog, Buddy.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Basinger, and twin siblings, Ray Basinger and Mae Stratton.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, with Major Felipe Tamayo officiating.
Visitation will be on Monday, from 5-8 p.m., and one hour prior to services on Tuesday, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, where the F.O.E. Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Monday.
