Dorothy J Morris Cook

Dorothy J. Cook, 97 of Lima, passed away Thursday afternoon, 3:42 p.m. May 9, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born on October 4, 1915 in Cairo, Ohio to M. J. and Clara (Ridenour) Morris and they preceded her in death.

She was the loving wife of the late Harold W. Cook. She was the beloved mother of Carolyn Patterson of Arlington, Ohio and of the late Evelyn Music. She is the loving grandmother of Jacqueline (John) Harless, Kimberly Mason and Kevin (Laura) Music. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Fred Patterson and Gene Music.

She was a wonderful wife to her husband, an outstanding mother, grandmother , great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family and friends may call 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are to be made to Area Agency on Aging 3 % Care Coordination Program 200 E. High Street Lima, Ohio 45801.
