The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 9,2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty.
Sylvia was the daughter of the late Jerome Franklin Wright and Edith Gunter Wright. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Martin; son, Drextel Martin; sisters, Barbara Cuthbertson and Iris Bowman; and brothers, Wayne Wright and Allen Wright.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Demetress Holt; grandson, Brandon Holt (Destiny Cole); great-granddaughters, Valerie Holt and Veronica Holt; and sister, Kay Bowman (Jesse).
