Sallie was a devoted wife, hard working mother, and friend to many. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Liberty, where she served in various ministries for many years. The Liberty Garden Club, Home Demonstration Club, and Liberty PTA were just a few of the local groups where Sallie served as a leader. Her days were filled enjoying time with family and friends, assisting Robert with his bookkeeping service, and her many hobbies--including cooking, sewing, crafts, reading, gardening, canning, and fishing and traveling with her husband.
