Nancy Elizabeth Jordan Holt

Nancy was a member of Smithwood Christian Church where she enjoyed participating in all church activities and events. She loved her family, especially her grandsons. Nancy was a selfless person, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her favorite things to do would have to include cooking, watching the cooking channel, crafting and keeping children.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Smithwood Christian Church with Rev. Derrick Smith and Rev. Gordon Fulton officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest in Smithwood Christian Church Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dell Moore Jordan.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Homer Holt; daughters, Jeanna Lynch (Randy) and Jennifer Humble (Randy); sister, Amanda York (Randy); brother, Rusty Jordan; grandchildren, Dallas Lynch (Ali), Nicholas Humble (Maddie Crotts) and Christopher Humble (Tiffney Kabler); and special nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their most heartfelt gratitude to AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, her Smithwood Christian Church family, Brenda Staley, Pastor Jason Frank and Jimmy Hill for all of the kindnesses shown to Nancy and our family during her sickness.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smithwood Christian Church, c/o Pam Smith, 6632 Alamance County Line Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
