Monty proudly served his country in the US Air Force. A faithful member of Midway Baptist Church of Jamestown, Monty was dedicated to serving the Lord. He loved to sing in the choir where his compassion and loving spirit was contagious. Monty was an avid UNC Chapel Hill fan and enjoyed watching games. Most of all, he loved the Lord and the blessing of being called “Paw-Paw”. Monty’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were truly the light of his life. He will be missed by so many including the choir of Midway Baptist and many friends and family members.
