Ronald (Ron) Mitchell Holloway, 80, of Liberty, Missouri passed away February 13, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, February 17th from 1:30 to 3:00p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty, Missouri. Burial will follow in Fairview New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Liberty Robotics Foundation, P.O. Box 927, Liberty, MO 64069.
Ron was born April 6, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Basil A. and Sue Louise (Mitchell) Holloway. After 50 years, Ron retired from the City of Liberty where he served as a Special Projects Engineer. Ron served in the United States Army Reserve, was a member of APWA, Heart of America Plymouth Owners Club and Mentor to First Robotics Team #1764, Liberty, Missouri, Jaycees, Masonic Lodge, and Liberty Junior Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, Donna of the home; 3 daughters, Jana Holloway of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Paula Richey (Tim) of Blue Springs, Missouri and Lesli Hayter (Terry) of Liberty, Missouri; 2 sons, Mark Bridgeman (Kristine) of Liberty, Missouri and Craig Bridgeman (Dena) of Kearney, Missouri, 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren and Brother, Jeffrey (Peg) Holloway of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and a multitude of family and friends.
