Mark Sim Elliott

He was born June 7, 1955 in Kansas City, MO to Pete and June (Johnson) Elliott. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1973, and lived his entire life in the Liberty area. After high school, he started working for Ford Motor Corp where he worked for 10 years. Shortly after leaving Ford, he started his own Moving and Storage business.

In his free time enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and Mexico, going to the horse races, and snow skiing. He also loved his dogs, especially Gus who preceded Mark in death. Mark’s most valued time was spent with his lifelong companion Linda, and all of his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Terry.

Mark is survived by his Companion Linda Lollar, his sons; Matthew (Martha) Elliott of Kansas City, MO, Jarred (Brittany) Elliott of St. Joseph, MO, Brandon Nye of Las Vegas, NV, and daughter Angie Nye of Liberty, MO. Also surviving are his brothers; Gary (Sandra) Elliott of Liberty, MO and Craig (Christina) Elliott of Independence, MO, Nephews Tracy, Troy, Gary, Shawn, and a niece Shannon Elliott. Five grandchildren and many extended family.

There is a visitation scheduled for Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. At the Church~Archer~Pasley Funeral Home. 119 E. Franklin St., Liberty, MO.
