Larry R. Roberts

Larry was born May 23, 1938 in Pratt, Kansas to Richard and Zella (Coburn) Roberts. He graduated from Cullison High School in 1956. Larry earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kansas State University and his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Fort Hays State University. He taught for a few years in Arizona then returned to Hays as a assistant then later high school principal. Larry retired as a Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Neosho, Missouri School District.

He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Faye Rosenbaum in 1957 and they raised three boys in Hays. Larry loved cars and restored a few in his free time. He also enjoyed watching K-State sports. Larry and Joan loved traveling together and enjoyed many bus trips over the United States.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Zella (Coburn) Roberts; and his beloved wife, Joan Faye Roberts.

Larry is survived by his sons, Richard Roberts, Rick Roberts (Stephen Glenski), and Randy Roberts; his grandchildren, Haley Roberts, Abby Roberts, and Rachael Roberts; his siblings, Lowell Roberts, Nancy Hendricks, and Jill Bush; as well as other relatives and friends.
