LEXINGTON – Funeral service for Dr. Paul Matthew Becker, 81, of Lexington, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Dr. Becker passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born September 21, 1936 in East Meadow, Long Island, New York, the son of the late Paul M. Becker and Cecelia Alma Morgan Becker. He served in the United States Navy for 8 years and was a retired Chiropractor.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Estelle Craft of Lexington; daughters, Sharon Hunter (Robert) and Lynn Johnson all of Woodruff; step-children, Shanna Craft, Joy Cooper (Mike) and Eva Hipp (Chuck); grandchildren, Preston and Dillon; greatgrandchild, Riley; seven step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and his Long Time Special Friend, Arthur "Arti" Birka.
