Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lilawati Govindlal Patel, was on born August 16th, 1926 to Jadiben and Ishwarbhai Patel. She was married to Govindlal Jamnadas Patel and was a caring mother to seven children and twelve grandchildren. Her profound devotion to the Hindu faith was the foundation of her life. She showered her family with blessings and love during every pivotal moment and milestone, and taught everyone to enjoy simple pleasures in life. She passed peacefully in her sleep on November 15th, 2024 at the age of 98.
A memorial service for Lilawati will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.
