Juette Carter Asbill passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a native of Ridge Spring, SC. Carter was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved music and playing the violin. He was a member of various orchestras wherever he lived. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and was a lifelong Carolina fan.
He is survived by his wife, Diane V. Asbill; his children, Stephen Carter Asbill and wife Anne, Virginia Watson Asbill, Scott Crawford Asbill and wife Melina; grandchildren, Greg, Paige, Blake, Conner and Nia; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by parents, Juette Curtis Asbill and Virginia Watson Asbill, both of Ridge Spring, SC.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Ridge Spring Cemetery, 3068 SC-23, Ridge Spring, SC 29129.
