LEXINGTON- Funeral services for Jacqueline D, Gilles, 75, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Calvary Chapel of Columbia, 1755 12th St., Cayce, SC 29033. The family will receive guests after the service in the church.
Jackie was born October 18, 1942 in Enumclaw, WA, to the late Jack Lawrence and Deloris Muchlinski Lawrence. She passed away on September 21, 2018, surrounded by her three daughters.
Jackie attended business school in Seattle, WA where she met and married her loving husband in June of 1961. They moved to Ohio where they raised their family. After relocating to Columbia, SC, Jackie worked as an office manager at The University of South Carolina. Jackie was very involved with her church and loved to play cards with friends.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Carolynn (Scott) Varney of Ohio, Catherine (Jeffrey) Menne of California, and Victoria (Kelly) Bumgarner of North Carolina; sister Janet (Jim) Weisenbach of Washington; grandchildren, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Frank, Sarah, Alex, Nicolle, Caitlin, and Connor; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Alexus, Halona, Ryland, and Gunnar; and her faithful furry companion, Ozzie.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Frank A. Gilles, and her son, Frank L. Gilles.
