Geraldine lived a life overflowing with love and dedication to her family. Known for her kind spirit and hardworking nature, she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Geraldine’s adventurous heart led her to travel the world, from the sunlit shores of Hawaii to the vibrant waters of Cozumel and the golden sands of Aruba. She found joy in knitting and quilting, crafting beautiful pieces that became cherished gifts for family during the holidays and on birthdays—each stitch a testament to her love.
Geraldine also found peace outdoors, whether she was swimming, tending to her garden, or simply relaxing with family and friends on their porch. Her love extended to her furry family members, Harley and Daisy, who were very dear to her.
Geraldine’s kindness and warmth left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love, creative hands, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Gene Ling and Heather Collins, and her two daughters, Kari Ling and Melissa Ling Rafford. Her two sisters, Arlene Rossignol and Charlene Theriault. Her grandchildren, Kassandra Rafford and her fiancé, Kenneth Scott Stoeppler, Dylan Rafford and his wife, Kilee Rafford, Samantha Motz and her husband, Addie Smalley and her husband, Tyler Smalley and John ‘Buddy’ Collins. Her great grandchildren, Logan Knight, Steiner Ling, Anika Ling, Emmett Rafford, Harrison Smalley, with one grandchild due in May, and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jeffrey and Agathe Gagnon. Her husband, Ken Ling. Her brothers, Gerald Gagnon and Clifford Gagnon. Her sisters, Leena Babin and Rena. Her grandchild, Jesse Ling.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on November 16, 2024, at Caughman Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel.

We would like to thank Heart of Hospice for easing Geraldine’s passing and making sure she was comfortable in her last week. As well as Heather Collins, her daughter-in-law, whom was a big part of Geraldine’s life, especially care during her last few months.
