LEXINGTON – Frances Watts Rish passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Born August 24, 1933, she was the daughter of James Edward and Lottie Ruby Watts. Mrs. Rish was a homemaker and longtime member of Lexington Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Gary (Ruth) Rish and daughter, Lynn (Scott) Kirkland; five grandchildren, Ian (Laura) Rish, Jared Rish, Zack (Beth) Rish, Caitlin Rish, and Conner Kirkland; and two great-grandchildren, Violet and Henry Rish. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, E. Pickens Rish and son, Edward Rish.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Woodridge Memorial Park with visitation immediately following the service in the Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in memory of Mrs. Rish be made to Lexington Baptist Church, 308 East Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at National Healthcare Center, Lexington for their loving care.
