Dolly was born February 11, 1929 in Alden Station, PA. She was the daughter of the late John Zavishlock and Victoria Mushinski Zavishlock.
Dolly was a realtor for Better Homes & Garden Realty in Allendale, NJ. She retired to Wilmington, NC where she lived for 20 years before relocating to Lexington, SC to be closer to family.
She was the most selfless wife, mother and grandmother who always looked for ways to make her family’s life more special. She would happily wake up at 4:30 in the morning to make a hot breakfast for her children before they went skiing and made sure there was a hot water bottle in the bed when her children got there on cold winter nights in New Jersey. She would pack you a picnic lunch for a 3 hour drive home. She was the best mother-in-law a woman could ever have. Her hobbies included golf and playing cards, but her greatest passion was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Other than her parents, Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Edward Walter Mack; her brothers, Edmund Locke, Walter Locke, Leonard Locke and Richard Locke; sisters, Josephine Klint and Emily Gomba; niece, Janet Celmer; and great nephews, Barry Klint and Nicholas Johnston.
Dolly is survived by her children, Sherry Biehler (Jim), James Mack (Robin), Maryellen Farrar (Dan) and Thomas Mack (Patti); grandchildren, Lindsay Gregory (Brian), Kelsey Biehler, Brandon Mack, Ashton Farrar, Chandler Mack and Robert “RJ” Mack; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Lexington, SC. Inurnment will follow service in the Columbarium behind the church.
