He was born in Lewiston on June 17, 1962 a son of the late Wilfred F. & Brenda F. (Everett) Perreault Sr. He grew up in Lewiston attending local area schools and graduated from Lewiston High School. In 2001, he obtained his Associates Degree from Central Maine Tech School in Electromechanical Technology.
Wilfred worked at Angstrom Fiber Auburn in Auburn, ME for 30 plus years as an Industrial Electrician.
Wilfred was an avid sports fan. He loved the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Montreal Canadiens. He thoroughly enjoyed attending auto races with his son. He loved to spend time with his family, attended all his children’s sports games, and many school events. Wilfred spent a lot of time with his Uncle Rick and Aunt Diane, they loved to hang out, watch a game on TV, and talk about everything under the sun. He enjoyed taking trips to Michigan to visit his sister Petey, and her husband Kevan. They would frequently go to the Henry Ford Museum and Stahl’s Motor and Music Experience in that area, as he was quite the history buff.
He is survived by his two children Nicholas J. Perreault and his wife Kristina and Samantha M. Perreault-Gould and her husband Benjamin all of Oxford, ME. He also leaves behind his three grandchildren Amelia, Evelyn and Hannah as well as his two sisters Tina Clark-Pratt of Minot, ME and Pietra Visnick and her husband Kevan of Ray, MI and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica on 01/13/2025 at 11:00am. Followed by prayers of internment at St. Peter’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
