Rita M. Blais

She was born in Cascade, NH, July 26, 1927 daughter of the late Joseph Z. and Elizabeth Beaudoin Morin. She was educated in Augusta schools and was married to Joseph C. Blais.

Rita enjoyed gardening and sewing but especially homemaking for her family. She also enjoyed the company of her cats.

She is survived by her husband Joseph of Greene; three sons, Marcel Blais and wife Janice of Lewiston, Ronald Blais and wife Jean of Dresden and Philip Blais and wife Deanna of Greene; three grandchildren, Brian and Spencer Blais and Amanda MacKellar and husband Andy; a brother, Lionel Morin of Augusta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
