Mindy Lynn Parker

She was born in Lewiston, ME a daughter of Reginald C. & Nancy L. (Brooks) Parker Jr. With her father being in the military, Mindy grew up in Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina and Maine, graduating from Edward Little High School as a member of the class of 1985.

One of Mindy’s favorite things to do was take pictures. Whether it was flowers, bugs, birds, loved ones, or selfies, when a camera was in her hands she was glowing with happiness. Mindy loved her family and would make a point to tell them as much as possible how much she loved and appreciated them, sometimes a hug most frequently with a text and lots of emojis. Her family gave her strength through all this, laughter with her sisters, quality time with her mom, joy of loving Mike. She was the most proud of her daughter Morgan, she was her entire world.

Mindy, a beacon of kindness and love, filled with contagious energy, a presence that could brighten any room and will forever reside in our hearts. She found beauty in everything around her. We find solace in knowing she’s at peace.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her daughter Morgan L. Knowlton of Springfield, MA. She also leaves her two sisters Tracey Rioux and her husband DJ of Poland, ME and Kacie Parker of Lewiston and two nephews Ryan and Garrett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10 am – 12 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home.
