He was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 7, 1951 the son of the late Lionel and Georgette (Cloutier)
Gagne and was a resident of this community all of his life.
He served with the United States Army in Desert Storm in Iraq as a Medical Supplier and then served for twenty plus years in the Army Reserves.
During his younger years he loved to travel to different countries with his family. He enjoyed going to the casinos with his sister Doris. Also he enjoyed dining out, shopping and playing cribbage with the Lewiston
Senior Citizens.
He accepted the Lord as his Savior.
He is survived by his wife Marilou Gagne of Lewiston; a step-son Aaron Arnesta of Colorado; three sisters Rejeanne Nadeau of Minot, Doris Bellefleur of Lewiston and Jackie Greenough of Massachusetts; a special cousin Raymond Cloutier who was by his side until his passing of Manchester, Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline and his niece Brenda.
A Funeral Mass honoring Maurice's life will be celebrated on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. At the request of the family there will not be any visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maurice's memory to Holy Family Church 607 Sabattus Street, Lewiston, Maine 04240. Arrangements by The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A.
