LEWISTON - Francoise E. Boucher, 87, a long time resident of 86 Hackett St., Lewiston passed away Thursday with her loving family by her side at d'Youville Pavilion after a sudden illness. She was born in St. Georges de Beauce, P.Q., on November 29, 1920 to the late Aime and and Marianne (Busque) Bisson. She was educated in Canadian schools. On July 20, 1939 she married the love of her life, Armand Boucher. In 1951, they moved to Lewiston where she was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. She worked at Crest Shoe Shop for many years while raising her four children. She loved cooking especially at the holidays her famous donuts and Christmas cookies. She loved her "soaps" and shopping. She always looked her best. She also liked planting her flowers and trips to the ocean. She will be sadly missed by her children and family. Survivors include her husband, of 68 years, Armand; a son, Guy Boucher and his wife, Connie all of Lewiston;and her daughters, Lis Welborne of Bridgeton who lost her late husband, Dave who was adored by Francoise; Rena Sehl and her husband, Henri and Diane Pelletier and her husband, Richard all of Lewiston.one sister, Gloria Boily of Florida; one brother, Toussaint Bisson of Lewiston. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. A special thanks to St. Mary's Hospital nurses in the ICU �C-2, and d'Youville Pavilion for the great care given to her and her family. BOUCHER died in Lewiston, December 6, 2007, Mrs. Francoise E. Boucher age 87 years a resident of 86 Hackett St. Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring her life will be celebrated MONDAY 11:00AM at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Interment with committal prayers to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
