Born in Princeton, NJ, Stan has been a resident of Middletown Township for the past 32 years. He was employed with Allied Waste for many years.
He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, grilling, cooking and collecting antiques.
Beloved husband of Darlene for 38 years, Stan was the loving father of Jessica Smith (Paul) and Megan Cost (Michael) and the devoted grandfather of Piper, Luca, Devon, Reese, Mackenzie, Cooper and Whitney.
Son of the late Edward and Madeline Swinnerton, Stan was the brother of Edward Swinnerton (Johanna), Sally Logue (Bob), James Swinnerton (Denise), Sharon King, Richard Swinnerton (Ellen) and the late Robert Swinnerton (Jean). Stan will also be missed by many close family members, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call from 12 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 18th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Interment will be private.
