Sherlie Cazy was Born in Gonaive, Haiti, on June 14, 1986, to the Derival family: Dieufet and Anseleine. Sherlie moved to the United States with her siblings to join their father. She completed high school and graduated college with a degree in X-Ray Tech.
Sherlie Cazy was a faithful Healing Center Community Church member under the leadership of Dr. Ansy and First Lady Sherline Dessources, where she served as an ordained minister. She married Jean Cazy, and they have two lovely children, Jason and Israel.
She was the driving force and prominent dance ministry leader, inspiring others with her passion and dedication.
She turned the praise and mime dance ministry into a movement and led it with passion and example throughout her leadership.
Sherlie was a mother, wife, minister, daughter, friend, and genuine servant of God who knew how to satisfy all areas with grace. She fought cancer and remained strong until her last day on earth. She never stopped believing and never stopped doing ministry and mom duty while she was still fighting cancer.
Sherlie went to church every weekend to fulfill her calling as a praise dance minister. She also attended a deliverance service every first Saturday of the month to ensure everyone under the devil's attack was set free. She constantly desired to serve and worship God in the spirit of excellence. Her efforts were exemplified by her love and willingness to serve God wholeheartedly.
Sherlie possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life, she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around with her siblings, friends, and husband, will never be forgotten.
Forever cherishing her memory are her husband, Jean Cazy, and her two children, Jason and Isreal Cazy; her parents, Dieufet and Anseleine Derival; her sisters, Wislene Derival, Danielle Derival, and Kettia Delisfort; her brothers, Dieury Derival and James Derival. Grandmother: Lamene Zephirin, auntie: Natasha Pierre, uncles: Antenor Derival, three(3) Nephews, seven (7) Nieces, and a multitude of friends, beloved coworkers, and colleagues, and many Godchildren.
Sherlie Derival Cazy was a true warrior and a true leader.
Her legacy of faith, love, and service will be forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to Sherlie's Going Home Service which will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at Healing Center Community Church, 200 Penn Ave, Levittown, PA 19057. She will be laid to rest at Bristol Cemetery, Croydon, PA 19021 following her service.
