Ronald E. Freeman

Ronald E. Freeman passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 83.Born in Philadelphia, Ron has resided in Levittown for the past 60 years. A US Marine Corps Korean war veteran, he was a member of Fallsington American Legion Post 834 and a past Vice President of Carpenters Union, Local 1823.Ron enjoyed coaching for the Levittown American Little League for many years.He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially cheering for the Eagles. Ron also was a member of the Duffy and Overbrook String Bands.He is the loving father of the late, Chuck and brother of the late Vernon.Ron is the beloved husband of 60 years to Jackie (Myers) and dearest father of Scott (Michele) and Glenn (Cyndee).He is the devoted grandfather of Olivia, (fiance Josh), Joshua and Hunter Freeman.He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 2, 2018, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm.
