Robert, fondly known as Bob, was born to Fred and Ruth Linda (Brown) on April 10, 1943, in Trenton, NJ. Bob graduated high school in Florence, NJ and attended Trenton Junior College prior to being drafted to the US Army in 1966 where he earned the rank of Sergeant and spent time stationed in Germany. He was a hardworking driver/salesman for Snap-on Tools, Murray’s Steaks and finally Bottcher America from which he retired after more than 25 years of employment. He was a proud member of the NRA and the Falls Township Rifle and Pistol Association. Bob loved animals, studying the family ancestry, gardening, fishing, camping, a good nap, and watching Penn State football as well as the Phillies and Eagles. He was a great cook and made the best stuffed cabbage.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret (Kelly) Linda and three children, Jennifer Patton of Pennsburg, PA, Robert F. Linda of Levittown, PA, and Allison and Daniel Pilla of Morrisville, PA; his granddaughter Lisa Rock and her husband Thomas Kluger and grandson Jack Pilla. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ruth as well as his brother, Freddy. He loved his family more than anything and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2505 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, service to follow at 11am. Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown PA. Please be in line at the main office by 12:45 pm.
