Richard "Ralph" W. Watkins Sr.Richard "Ralph" W. Watkins Sr. died suddenly at his home in Bensalem, on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the age of 57.Born in Bristol, son of Anne M. (Doheny) and Robert W. Watkins Sr., Ralph has been a lifetime resident of Lower Bucks County. He was a 1979 graduate of Neshaminy Maple Point High School where he was an accomplished wrestler. He later coached wrestling at Conwell Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills.Ralph spent most of his working career in auto sales.He enjoyed fishing and was proudly known as the "B.C. Angler" (Bucks County Angler). Ralph was a huge Philadelphia sports fan and an avid hater of the Dallas Cowboys. Ralph appreciated the fine restaurants in the area and most would consider him a food enthusiast.He will be remembered well for his great sense of humor and leaving people with a smile.Ralph is the loving father of Richard W. Jr. (Kristine), Chelsea Rae (Owen Schrader) and Lindsey Nicole Watkins; grandfather of Charleigh and Vivian; and brother of Robert W. Watkins Jr. (Geraldine).He will also be sadly missed by the mother of his children, Cindy Watkins; his uncle and aunt, Richard and Cass DePasquale; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.Ralph was predeceased by his siblings, George T. Watkins, Marie Goodman, Sharon Anne Reilly (Tim).Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 6, 2018, from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ralph's name may be made to Livengrin Foundation, 4833 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
