Paul is an original Levittowner, as he moved from Philadelphia at the age of 3, when Levittown was still being built. He grew up in a loving home in the Magnolia section, where he later raised his own family and watched his grandkids grow up. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School then continued onto Lockhaven University graduating with a Bachelor's degree in History. He then married the love of his life Maureen, on October 1, 1976.
Paul's favorite thing in this world was being surrounded by his family. He also enjoyed fishing, a good Irish whiskey, Flyers hockey, and target shooting. Paul loved competing in BBQ competitions with his team Jurassic Pork, and was most proud of being a recognized champion KCBS Pitmaster and judge.
Paul passes his legacy to his loving wife of 47 years, Maureen, and his three children Kelly, Kevin, and Mike and their spouses Patrick McCorry and Jenett O'Neill. He was the greatest Pop Pop to Brianna, Makayla, Ryan, Kayleigh, Serena, Sean, and his granddogs. He will also be missed by the Kelly and Martin families.
Paul's wit, sarcasm, and love will be missed by all. In true Irish tradition, raise a pint to Paul's memory. Slainte.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Paul's life on Thursday, May, 16, 2024, from 10 am until 12 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
We are asking in lieu of flowers, make a donation in Paul's name to Richboro Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Richboro, PA.
