Pat was born in New York City on April 5th, 1931. She was the youngest of 13 children. Raised in Woodside, Queens, she graduated from Immaculata High School in Manhattan. She was married for 66 years to her loving husband Bill (deceased).
She was an original Levittown resident and stayed in her home until her final day. She always felt safe, secure and happy in her home where her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would visit her frequently, almost daily. She cherished her home and loved her family and friends. She had 50 years of friendship with women she met in Al-Anon. She vacationed with these friends every September for many years. She spent 26 winters with her husband in Sarasota, Fl creating more lasting friendships.
Pat was employed by Amtrak at their reservation desk. She received her associates degree from Bucks County Community College and taught English as a second language for VITA in Bristol.
She enjoyed conversation over tea and long walks in the local parks.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Mary Yaeger. She is survived by her 7 children, William (Diane), Patricia (Timothy), Daniel (Nancy), Timothy (Kim), Michael (Jeanne), Matthew, and Kathleen (Peter); son-in-law, Paul Yaeger; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday morning March 2, 2023 at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown at 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory are requested to Catholic Social Services in Levittown, 100 Levittown Pkwy Levittown, PA 19054.
