Mary Lou Swiderski Mary Lou Swiderski died after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 60 years old. Born in Holyoke, MA, the daughter of the late Mary (Polak) and Martin Arsavage, she was a life long resident of Bristol Township. Mary Lou was a registered nurse. Her career spanned over 40 years in the nursing field working at various hospitals. She spent the last 20 years working as a case manager. She loved her sports, especially the Eagles. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, swimming in her pool, dancing and decorating for the holidays, especially Halloween. However, her most favorite enjoyment was time spent with her family, friends and grandson David. Beloved mother of Sharleen Fitzgibbon (John) and Leslie Swiderski, Mary Lou was the loving twin sister of Rose Mortensen (Glenn) and the loving grandmother of David Charles Fitzgibbon. She will also be sadly missed by her nephew and godson, Wayne Mortensen, niece, Lisa Benfield, great nephew, Maddex Benfield and numerous other family members and friends. She will be deeply missed by her companion, Frank MacDonald and her dog, Baby . Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
