Martin P. Furey Martin P. Furey died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, March 6, 2013. He was 53. Born in Bristol, the son of the late June (Ruane) and Thomas P. Furey, Jr., he was a life long resident of Levittown. He served proudly in the US Marines and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Furey enjoyed hunting, fishing and the rifle range. Beloved husband of 26 years to Dana M (Pierson), Mr. Furey was the loving father of Deanna Furey, Martin Patrick Furey, Jr. and Taylor Furey all of Levittown. He was the brother of Margaret Furey, Thomas P. Furey, III and Alice Welsh. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Monday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am.
