Lamoine A. Hallman Lamoine A. "Lou" Hallman passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Attleboro Nursing Home, Langhorne. He was 81. Born in Clearfield, PA, Lou graduated form Shickshinny High School and proudly served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. Lou has been was a life long resident of Levittown and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, where he was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and an Usher. He was also a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Hallman was a member of the Iron Workers Local 401. He was the owner of Hallman and Sons Overhead Doors and was the former owner of Stooky Barbecue in the 1980's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover C. and Elda (Yarger) Hallman and his brother, William. Mr. Hallman was the beloved husband of 59 years to Leonarda (Kuscavage) and the loving father of Jim (Terry) of Feasterville; Bob (Joanne) of Langhorne; Larry (Nancy) of Fairless Hills; and Danny (fiance, Kelly) of Levittown. He was the devoted grandfather of Matthew, Colleen, Tim, Petty Officer 1st Class Paul, USN (Dee), Greg (Claressa), Brian (Sara), Stephen, Nicole (Ernie) Christopher (Tara), Samantha (Andrew), Matthew and Chelsea and the proud great grandfather of 7. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and Monday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, 12:30 pm at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown followed by Rite of Committal in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
