Kevin C. Stevenson died peacefully at home in his sleep on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. He was 39. Born in Abington, Kevin grew up in Levittown and was a 1989 graduate of Truman High School. Kevin had a love for music. He knew his talent was a gift from God and was grateful to play anytime the opportunity allowed. He was a member of the the Praise Band at First United Methodist Church of Fairless HIlls where he played piano, keyboard, saxophone and guitar. He was a counselor for the Youth Group and helped organize music for them as well. Over the years Kevin wrote and performed his own music and also gave private lessons. Kevin and his beautiful music brought love to everyone he met and will be deeply missed by many caring family members, friends and fellow music lovers. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Kevin's presence was humorous and anyone in his company was happy and laughing. Beloved husband of 10 years to Jodi (Evans), Kevin is the loving son of Rydene (Croushore) Stevenson and the devoted brother of Kelly Jo Stevenson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his father, Charles Stevenson. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. at the Untied Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, 840 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, where his Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kevin's name may be made payable to the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
