Kathleen M. McIntyre

Kathleen M. "Kathy" McIntyre (née Flynn), age 62, passed away on Friday, June 10th, 2022 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Brian, as they shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Bristol Township, Kathy was a lifelong resident of Lower Bucks County. She was a 1978 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School. Kathy was an employee of Verizon, retiring after 34 years of service. During retirement, Kathy worked at Holy Trinity School and oversaw the CARES program for three years. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Kathy loved spending time at the beach, and volunteering at her Alma Mater. "All she did was love" and being with family was when she was the happiest.

Kathy was the adored wife of Brian, and the loving mother of Brendan, Sean (Natalie), and Craig McIntyre. She also raised her nephew and two nieces, John, Emily, and Sarah Flynn. Kathy is survived by her mother, Lois (née Ytse) Flynn, and her brother, Tom Flynn Sr. (Mary Ann). She will be deeply missed by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kathy is preceded in death by her father, John J. Flynn Sr., and her brother, John J. Flynn Jr.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday evening, June 19th, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 20th, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Morrisville, PA 19067 followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathy's name may be made to Holy Trinity School or the American Cancer Society.
